ISPARTA APPLIED SCIENCES UNIVERSITY
AKSU MEHMET SUREYYA DEMIRASLAN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
With the financial contributions of the late Mr. Mehmet Süreyya Demiraslan, an agricultural engineer, the opening of our vocational school was deemed appropriate by the decision of the Senate of Süleyman Demirel University dated 24.05.2007 and numbered 246; and based on the decision of the Senate dated 19.07.2007 and numbered 250, it started its activities in the 2007-2008 academic year. However, with the publication in the Official Gazette dated 18 May 2018 and numbered 30425, “Law No. 7141 on Amendments to the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decree Laws”, it was separated from Süleyman Demirel University and incorporated into Isparta University of Applied Sciences and continues its educational activities.
Purpose and Objectives:
Our college aims to ensure the continuous development of the local people and students through social, cultural and scientific activities in the region where it is located, and to train qualified and constructive human resources who are professionally competent and sensitive, who can research, think analytically and critically, have developed communication skills, and are at peace with themselves and their environment by utilizing public resources in the most efficient way.
It aims to be an educational institution that is loyal to Atatürk's principles, acts in accordance with the laws and moral rules, does not remain indifferent to the country's problems, values the environment and nature, adopts a participatory management and education system, is fully equipped and responsible in its field, trains successful and quality intermediate staff who learn the latest technologies in shaping the country's future and can develop and apply them in cooperation with the business world, is shown as an example with the knowledge it trains and produces, and is honored to be an employee and graduate.

In our Vocational School; there are 9 classrooms, 1 library, 1 computer laboratory, 1 conference hall, 1 sports field, 1 dining hall, 1 guest lecturer room and 1 canteen.
